October Glossybox

Received the October Glossybox in the post today. Was completely unexpected so was a very nice surprise! Also great to open it without knowing what was inside (I always seem to find out before receiving mine!) Really impressed with this month's box. To say thank you for all their loyal subscribers Glossybox slipped a little something extra in the box, which was a nice touch. They've also lauched a 'Refer a Friend' programme; for everyone who signs up on your recommendation you will receive 'GlossyDots' which help towards a free box! I think this is a really good idea, as I definitely think beauty boxes are very 'word of mouth' so it's encouraging to see the company understand this and are rewarding people for it!

As for the products in this month's box, I'm really happy with everything I got. This month's box contained three little Dermalogica Age Smart products; the MultiVitamin Thermafoliant (which I'm looking forward to using as I'm a bit of an exfoliator-obsessive), MultiVitamin Power Recover Masque, and Renewal Lip Complex. I'll definitely be giving them all a go, I love that they encourage skin renewal; this is something which is really important on acne-prone skin like mine as I am very prone to scarring, and renewing the skin means encouraging those scars to disappear! It also included a full-size Leighton Denny Expert Nails in  'Sex Kitten'; a gorgeous light metallic blue which I can't wait to try. I also got a Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof eyeliner, in a greeny colour which I probably wouldn't normally use but I am all for trying something new! I love Stila so I was excited to see it in the box. Finally, three signature Robert Piquet sample perfumes, which came in a cute little bag. I actually really like two of these fragrances, they're both really floral which I absolutely love. Definitely will be wearing them soon, but I know they might not be everyone's cup of tea!

Overall I'm really happy with this month's box and I'm very grateful that Glossybox gave me the chance to try it. I think beauty boxes are a fab idea and are something a lot of people will benefit from trying! I still won't be subscribing to the box however, as I simply can't afford it (as explained in my previous post). Are you subscribed to Glossybox? What did you think to this month's box?
