I Believe in Thunderbolts and Butterflies

Dress: River Island (sale)
Sandals: Primark
Earrings: River Island
Bracelets: Primark & Topshop
Fox Ring*: Hey Sailor

The weather was less than impressive yesterday, turning gloomy and raining as the day went on, but today has been warm and sunny and it felt like the perfect opportunity to debut my new River Island dress. I got this in the sale a few weeks ago; there really wasn't much on offer when I looked in my local shop but I saw some amazing bits online. I spied this dress hanging lonely on the stand and immediately fell in love with it. It's the perfect summer dress in my opinion; dipped hem, gorgeous floral print, pastel colours and a touch of sparkle (you might not be able to tell from the pictures but it has some sequin detailing on it). My heart sunk a bit when I saw it was a size 10, but me being me took it into the changing rooms to try on, and amazingly, it fit. Thank you River Island vanity sizes! It was an amazing £10, reduced from £35, which I think is pretty damn good! I can't wait to wear it throughout the (hopefully continuing) summer and on my holiday in a few months time! I'm also debuting my beautiful new Fox ring from Hey Sailor - I've wanted a ring like this for SO long and I absolutely love it.

I've spent this weekend mainly catching up on blogging, as I'm trying really hard to get into posting every day again but sometimes it proves difficult! I've also started compiling a wishlist for my birthday in a month's time - Marc Jacobs Honey perfume is top of my list! I'm going to spend tonight blogging a bit more (I have lots of outfit posts coming up so watch this space!) and having a yummy BBQ.

I posted a haul video the other day on my YouTube channel, so feel free to check that out here if you like! Also need ideas for upcoming videos as I'm stuck again!

I hope everyone is having a brilliant weekend!
