Limited Edition Nivea Soft Moisturiser Review

Tuesday, 17 September 2013

I'm pretty terrible when it comes to moisturising, but this recent addition to my dressing table has meant moisturising has become a regular part of my routine. Believe it or not, I've never actually tried Nivea's Soft Moisturiser before now, and I'm so glad I've finally given it a go as I am in love with this moisturiser.

I was recently sent the limited edition Giles Deacon version of Nivea's infamous Soft Moisturiser, in celebration of fashion week. There are three designs to collect and my version looks really cute sitting on my dressing table. The moisturiser can be used on hands, body and face and whilst I prefer to use it on my hands and body, I don't doubt it would be ideal for drier skin types to use on their face.

This moisturiser is completely fuss-free and leaves my skin feeling beautifully soft and smooth. My favourite thing about the moisturiser, however, is how utterly amazing it smells. It's a classic smell - kind of a mix between baby oil and sun lotion, or, as my boyfriend suggested 'kids sun lotion', and as bizarre as it sounds I can't stop smelling it. It contains Jojoba and Vitamin E, perfect for banishing scars and stretch marks, and doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky but instead sinks into my skin beautifully.

In celebration of fashion week, Nivea Soft has launched a competition to showcase the best 'outfit of the days', in which sixty winners will be chosen to win on-the-spot prizes, with one overall winner. To be in with a chance of winning a limited edition Nivea Soft Pot, a luxurious Giles Deacon handbag or the top prize of being styled by Giles, with a stay in London and £200, all you have to do is tweet or Instagram your outfit with the hashtags #OOTD and #NIVEASOFT.

I'm definitely going to be entering as I love a good competition and this one is so simple to enter! I haven't been paid to post about this by the way I just think competitions are fab and you've got to be in it to win it! Will you be entering? It closes on 25th September.
