Little Things #2

Saturday, 21 September 2013

Do you remember, absolutely ages ago, I did a post titled 'Little Things', featuring all the things I'm loving/that are making me happy at the minute. I haven't done one since but I've really wanted to, so here are the things making me happy at the minute...

1. Victoria's Secret Body Spray - A few weeks ago I hotfooted it to Leeds for a beauty event, and of course, ending up stumbling across the new Victoria's Secret store. Now, if you follow me on Twitter you'll probably know that I have wanted to go to a Victoria's Secret shop for absolutely ages now, desperately trying (and failing) to hunt it down in London, so you can imagine my happiness when I finally found one. The shop was absolutely amazing and I honestly could have spent hours in there. We were a little pushed for time so I spritzed away at the body mists and chose the beautiful smelling Wild Strawberries and Champagne one - it kind of has a rosey scent to it, which I love, and it looks so pretty on my shelf. I can definitely see me collecting these gorgeous sprays!

2. Mary Jane Fashion Boots* - I've wanted some boots like this for ages now - whilst I have some Chelsea boots they don't have much of a heel, whereas these have some serious height and a whopping platform to them. They're absolutely gorgeous and I feel a million dollars wearing them, even if I struggle to walk in them a little bit (I'm terrible in high heels, I've come to realise). I wore them last weekend and I honestly would wear these constantly if I could get away with it!

3. Blog Inc. - Another thing I've wanted to get my paws on for ages now, the book every blogger and their mother has; Blog Inc. My blog is really important to me and seeing how much it's grown over the past few years has made me want to push and make it even better, so I thought this book was a sensible buy. It's really great at giving you ideas and I think it's fab if you feel like you're in a bit of a blogging rut. There's information on starting a blog, to making it your career, so it's ideal if you're established or just starting out in the blogging world. I haven't finished it yet but I'm loving it so far!

4. Urban Outfitters Photoframe - As soon as I saw this on the Urban Outfitters website I knew it had to be mine, so luckily when I was in Leeds I also managed to get hold of this. It's such a cute quirky photo frame, filled with sparkly sequins and unicorns, and whilst I don't have an image to fill it just yet, it still looks super pretty on my shelves. Love it! PS - there's 15% off online at Urban Outfitters with the code 'NEWSEASON'

5. Katy Perry The Movie - Finally, last night I watched Katy Perry The Movie: Part of Me after wanting to see it for so long and it completely blew me away. I've been a big fan of Katy since the beginning, but this film just cemented my love for her even more. Unfortunately I never got to see her California Dreams tour but this film gives you a huge insight into just how phenomenal it was, as well as seeing behind the scenes. The film shows how amazingly hard-working and dedicated to her fans she is and I really couldn't fault it. I think it's a great watch even if you don't know that much about Katy as it's a real eye-opener. 100% recommend!
