A Princess Dress

Dress: Ruby Prom*
Bag: Ruby Prom*
Earrings: H & M

I don't know about you, but I love nothing more than dressing up in a beautiful dress and heading to an event, an evening out or, let's face it, a simple dance around the house in it. I don't think there's anything better than getting yourself glammed up and putting a pretty dress on - it reminds me of dressing up in my Disney Princess dresses when I was younger, tiara and all!

So, when I was approached about reviewing a dress from Ruby Prom I couldn't help but get extremely excited. Although I own a lot of pretty dresses, I've never really owned a dress that took my breathe away, other than perhaps the dress I wore for my graduation ball. I've lusted after luxurious prom dresses for so long and when I laid my eyes on the Bethany prom dress I immediately fell in love, and knew it had to be mine. I've wanted a dress like this for so long. I remember seeing Katy Perry wear a similar number from Betsey Johnson, but when I saw the price tag I let out a little bit of a sob. Luckily, this gorgeous violet and turquoise number is a fraction of the price of that dress, at £155. Still on the pricey side, but for a beautiful dress like this I wouldn't really expect to pay less. I love how it shows off my waist with the gorgeous embellished detail, and its colour palette is simply stunning. It is definitely my new favourite dress and I hope to get lots of wear out of it over the party season!

I adore how beautiful and unique this dress is and the quality of it is amazing. It came packaged in a posh clothes bag too, to make sure it stays nice and pretty. It is the ultimate princess dress and I feel a million dollars wearing it!

Are you a fan of Ruby Prom dresses? Let me know if you own one!
