Accessorize Autumn Lipsticks

Accessorize Lipsticks* in Head Over Heels, Passionate & Infatuated - £5.00 each

I was actually sent these beautiful Accessorize lipsticks much earlier on in the year, but I've been patiently waiting until we're in the depths of autumn to show you them, as I think they are the perfect autumnal shades that are so en vogue this year.

I've blogged about Accessorize makeup in the past, so if you're a long-time reader you'll know I'm a big fan of the brand and its foray into the world of makeup. I've tried one Accessorize lipstick before and been really impressed, so I had high hopes for these babies. I wasn't disappointed.

The three shades I was sent are Head Over Heels; a stunning pillar box red, Passionate; a deep-dark oxblood shade, and Infatuated; a stunning purple-red. All of these lipsticks are amazing quality - not too dry or too moisturising, they are long-lasting and look beautifully pigmented on the lips. Head Over Heels is a delicious Hollywood classic rouge, with a semi-matte finish that looks to-die-for. Passionate is what I've pipped to be the shade of the season - oxblood is everywhere for A/W and I definitely think this shade channels just enough gothic punch to deserve some attention. Finally, my favourite of the bunch, Infatuated is an absolutely gorgeous rich purple-pink-red hue which is unlike any other I've got in my collection. It's coming up slightly too purple in the picture above, but I'm wearing it in this blog post too, for reference.

For a fiver I think these lipsticks are absolutely amazing and everyone needs to have at least one in their collection. Their beautiful packaging makes them look even more appealing, and I think they'd make perfect gifts at Christmas (or, you know, you could just treat yourself). Considering how pigmented they are I think they're a serious bargain and if you're a packaging fiend like me you'll love them!

Are you a fan of Accessorize's makeup? What do you think to these lipsticks?
