Win an iPad Mini - Moments that Mattered Prize Draw [CLOSED]

Today I'm coming at you with an uh-mazing prize draw thanks to the lovely people at Lloyds Bank, who have given me the opportunity to give one of you gorgeous readers an iPad Mini! I know, pretty amazing right?! I actually own an iPad Mini (see my post here) and literally don't know what I'd do without it, so I'm so excited to be letting one of you guys receive one too!

Now, as much as I like those 'click to enter'-type competitions, I don't think there is anything better than showing off your skills and creativity and working hard to try and win something. I've won competitions in the past through this method of doing things and it means so much more knowing you've won something thanks to your own talents, not just sheer luck!

So, to be in with a chance of winning a beautiful iPad Mini, worth £249, all you have to do is write a post on your own blog telling your readers about the moments that mattered to you in 2013. It could be one moment or a mix of a few, but the important thing is that it's something that really mattered to you, and made a difference to your 2013, for the good. It could be a holiday you went on, someone you met, or even a skill you learnt.

Here's my example, to give you an idea of the type of post I'm looking for. Remember it can be an in-depth account of one moment that mattered, or you can let your readers know about a few:

For me, 2013 was a mixed bag, but there are definitely some moments that really mattered and made my year all-the-better. I took up running which is something I never thought I'd be able to stick at, and actually went as far as competing in both the Race for Life and The Zest Challenge. Crossing the finish lines at both events definitely signify moments that mattered to me - I've always been really unfit and to know I could complete a 5k run without passing out was a huge achievement for me!

Running wasn't the only moment that mattered to me during 2013 though, as I also learnt a few new skills last year. On holiday with my boyfriend I learnt to kayak, windsurf and scuba dive, all of which I'm incredibly proud of. I also tried my hardest at water skiing, and although I never got the hang of it, I really did try my best, which is something to be proud of I think. I also braved the stage to sing karaoke one night - whilst I'm a big lover of karaoke, I've never had a response like I did on holiday, where I was actually getting comments for days afterwards saying how good I was - this totally made my holiday.

As well as learning new skills and giving new sports a try, I also put a great deal of effort into launching my YouTube channel and making my blog bigger and better. A big moment that mattered for me was gaining 5,000 subscribers near the end of the year, which I think is an amazing achievement. Along with this my blog has continued to grow and I've had the chance to work with some amazing brands, all of which have shaped my 2013.
