L'Oreal Miss Manga Mascara Review

Monday, 10 February 2014

Being a false lash-lover, I don't tend to bother when it comes to searching for the perfect mascara. I let my falsies do the work the majority of the time, so a little lacquer of whatever is nearest to had to blend with my natural lashes usually does the job. However, more recently I've been having 'barely there' makeup days, or simply days when I can't really be bothered to put my falsies on. On said days, it is so important to me that I use a good mascara.

I'm overly insecure about my eyes and think they look tiny without falsies on, so for the days when I go without them, I make sure I use a mascara that is going to give maximum volume, curl, and length. Previously my go-to had been Benefit's They're Real mascara, but when L'Oreal released their new Miss Manga offering, I just couldn't resist giving it a go.

Immediately attracted to the mascara thanks to L'Oreal's amazing Miss Manga campaign, I was lucky enough to get my hands on a tube of the new mascara. I had high hopes for it and honestly, I haven't been disappointed. I'm aware that my lashes will probably never look as 'WOW' as the lashes in the campaign, but as soon as I started using this mascara I fell in love. Something about the unique brush (which bends to get in all those hard-to-reach places) as well as the mascara itself makes my lashes so much longer, thicker and gives some serious curl. I hate it when my lashes look stumpy and straight, and this mascara opens them up and gets them looking curled and Manga-fied. I'm really impressed with this mascara and think for the price you really can't grumble. The mascara is available in black, as well as two ultra-cool 'out-there' colours; violet and turquoise.

Have you tried L'Oreal's Miss Manga Mascara? What did you think to it?
