Disney Frozen Lipsmackers Review

Frozen Lipsmackers* - £2.49 each or £10 for pack of 6

As you'll probably know, I'm a big fan of anything to do with Disney, not least makeup and cosmetic products. So, when I heard that Lipsmackers were releasing a Frozen-themed collection, I couldn't wait to get my mitts on a few of the lip balms.

Available in six different flavours, each lip balm features a character from the film, in their own unique scent/flavour. The three lip balms I got were Sven, Elsa and Olaf. Sven's flavour is Berry Slush, Elsa's is Cool Vanilla Mint, Olaf's is Coconut Snowball, whilst Kristoff's is Icepop, Anna's is Strawberry Shake, and Elsa & Anna's is Chilled Cranberry Grape.

Having never previously tried any Lipsmacker products (shocking I know), I was suitably impressed with these. I love the packaging, obviously, but the products themselves are great too. No, they're not going to contend with the likes of higher-end lip balm brands, but for the price and the fact these are a bit of fun they're great. I adore the Olaf lip balm, Coconut Snowball, as I'm a huge fan of the smell of coconut so this is a total treat to apply. Sven's Berry Slush is super fruity, and Elsa's Cool Vanilla Mint is probably my least favourite, just because I'm not too keen on the mix of mint and vanilla together - I do think it'll be a favourite with others though.

Overall I think these lip balms are really cute and keep my lips nice and moisturised. I'm terrible when it comes to applying lip balm but because I love the smell and look of these I'm always reaching for them in my handbag. It's definitely made me keen to try the other Disney Lipsmackers products too - they even have a princess range!

Have you tried any of the Frozen Lipsmackers? What did you think?

  6. Ooh I used to use lots of the 'Lip Smackers' balms when I was younger. I remember the ones that used to be flavoured/scented like fizzy pop. I've never seen any Disney ones, I love the sound of the Olaf one though :)
