La Roche-Posay Serozinc

One of the most hyped-about, hard-to-get-hold-of products has officially washed up on UK shores - La Roche-Posay's Serozinc. It's the one skincare product almost everyone bulk-buys when visiting France, and one that has been raved about by beauty gurus since blogging began. Now, it's officially a whole lot easier to get hold of, as it's now stocked at one of my favourite online beauty destinations for french pharmacy goods - Escentual

So, what is this product all about? I'll admit - when I first saw this crop up on the blogosphere I wasn't really phased by it - I mean, a spray-based product can only do so much, right? But after all the dozens upon dozens of positive reviews, I knew it was time I bit the bullet and saw what all the fuss was about.

Serozinc is a very simple product. Made up of only three ingredients (zinc sulphate, astringent sodium chloride and thermal water), Serozinc targets oily, blemish-prone skin (something I know all about) and works to get rid of blemishes, marks and excess oiliness. It's meant to tighten pores, mattify the skin, and get rid of excess shine - all things I look for in a good skincare product.

So... does it deliver? Well, I've only been using it for a couple of weeks, but so far, so good. I like how it takes the place of a toner, in between cleansing and moisturising, and the fact it's so easy to use is definitely a bonus - simply shut your eyes and spray away. It gives a really nice cooling sensation, which definitely wakes you up in the morning, and I do feel like it's definitely tightening those pores up and doing my skin some good. In terms of visible results, I'm not too wowed by it just yet, but it's early days. I'll be sure to keep you updated and come at you with a full review after a few months of using it though.

So, if you want to get your hands on this bad boy, it should be easy now it's stocked on UK websites, right? Uh, well, unfortunately, it seems everyone is desperate to get their hands on this product, and so it's currently sold out. Luckily, good ol' Escentual let you order things even when they're out of stock to be delivered when they get some back in, so all is not lost.

Will you be placing an order to see how this hyped-up product works? Let me know if you've tried it and what you thought!
