Christmas Homeware Wishlist

I can’t actually believe we’re almost half-way through November already – how quickly is time flying?! Now that Halloween is out of the way, all of the shops are full to the brim with incredible Christmas decorations, gift ideas and the best of all – festive homeware.
While I get excited about the prospect of decorating the tree, the one thing that really excites me is kitting the house out in Christmas-themed homeware for the festive season. I feel like a few years ago, Christmas cushions, tea towels and doormats weren’t really a ‘thing’, yet now they’re everywhere! It can be overwhelming browsing through the endless aisles/webpages bursting with Christmas-themed goodies, so I’ve put together a bit of a Christmas homeware wishlist to make things a bit easier for you!
I’m all about veering away from the ‘traditional’ colours of Christmas – you won’t find much dark green or bright red here – and I’m more of a fan of festive brights and pinks. H&M have the most amazing range of festive homeware this year – with everything from more traditional styles to muted tones, to my idea of a ‘pretty pink’ Christmas – the cute pink car pieces are just me to a tee. I have my eye on the festive car doormat in particular! The snow-globe cushion is also gorgeous, and would suit a more neutral home too.
Christmas homeware: my favourite shops
Anthropologie is another shop I fall head over heels with at Christmas time, and this year is no different. Their range of festive candles, cute tea towels and adorable mugs is to die for. This sweet little Christmas house mug is definitely at the top of my list – I think you could totally get away with using this after Christmas too. I’m also obsessed with the gingerbread house tea towel – Anthropologie always get me with they’re incredible tea towels. They’re not cheap though, so perhaps use them for decoration rather than mopping up any brandy butter spills!
M&S is a shop that has definitely upped its Christmas homeware game this year – I absolutely love this grey set of place mats and coasters. They even have light-up cushions and table-runners too! They have a great range of Christmas bedding this year as well – I’m quite taken with this fleece candy cane bedding set, I won’t lie!
Finally, Dunelm is another homeware shop that has an amazing range of festive homewares. The Santa and snowman glasses are so cute, and super affordable too. I also really love this nutcracker bedding set, which is actually from a brand called Furn that I’ve never heard of before. Furn also do this beautiful leopard Christmas bedding set that caught my eye too!
