Last-Minute Christmas Gift Guide for Girly Girls

I debated whether to do a load of different gift guides this year, but in the end I settled on doing a post on the kind of things I’d like for Christmas, so it gives you some inspiration whether you’re looking to buy a present for someone or just looking to treat yourself! 

There are so many incredible gift sets out this year I was pretty spoilt for choice when it came to putting this together – Barry M’s offering is amazing, Benefit have some fabulous sets and the range in Boots is spectacular as always. 

I’ve tried to mix things up with a range of different gifts for girls like me – with bigger presents, gift sets and little stocking fillers too. 

First up, I’ve got to talk about Barry M’s brilliant beauty sets. I’ve been a big Barry M fan for years but never really paid much attention to what they do at Christmas until this year – and I’m so impressed! I’ve featured the Barry M Liquid Lustre set* and the Cosmic Nights set*, two of my favourites, which I think are perfect for beauty lovers. Barry M’s nail polishes never fail to disappoint, and the four shades in the Liquid Lustre set are just stunning. It’s a bargain at £10.99 too! For glitter lovers, the Cosmic Nights set is absolutely on point – it features the Cosmic Lights palette, Show Girl mascara, Bold Waterproof eyeliner and some gorgeous body glitter. It’s only £14.99 which I think is great considering it includes a palette! Both of these sets are exclusive to Argos. 

Moving on to another gift set I just couldn’t resist including in this gift guide – the Benefit City Lights Party Nights set. Whilst stock seems quite low on this online (it’s not surprising as it’s such an amazing deal) I definitely think it’s worth hunting out in stores if you’re heading on a little last-minute Christmas shopping trip. Why? Because it costs just £24.50 and comes with a gorgeous makeup bag, mini Dandelion Twinkle highlighter (which is so pretty), mini They’re Real mascara, mini Nude Scandal lipstick (my fave nude from Benefit) AND a full-size (yes, you read right, FULL-SIZE) Precisely, My Brow pencil which retails for £20 on it’s own. So you’re paying an extra £4.50 for all those goodies. Amazing, right?!

If you’re looking for a gorgeous-smelling yet affordable fragrance, then it’s got to be the Missguided Babe Power perfume*. In a gorgeous rose gold can-shaped bottle, it is the perfect girly-girl smell featuring grape fruit zest, orange blossom, peony, jasmine, vanilla and candy floss. Whenever I wear this I get so many compliments and for £28 for 80ml it’s such a steal.

One of my favourite things featured in this gift guide has got to be the Lee Stafford Rainbow Shine Curling Wand*. With an insane rainbow-finish barrel, it looks incredible and gives you gorgeous long-lasting curls. I haven’t had a chance to give it a proper go yet but I have very high hopes after reading some glowing reviews. The best thing? It’s currently just £29.99 on the Lee Stafford website which I personally think is an absolute bargain, and perfect if you’re looking for a hair styler that’s a little bit different.

Now – on to little stocking fillers. For the Disney fan, I had to include these super cute B for Bambi Bath Fizzers* which look absolutely beautiful in a floral Bambi design and include four bath fizzers in a wildflower fragrance. Sticking with sweet smells, I always swear by Yankee Candles Votives for the perfect little stocking fillers. They’re just £1.99 each but make sure a lovely little addition. I love the fragrances ‘All is Bright’ and ‘Snowflake Cookie’ for this time of year. For the stationery lover, TK Maxx has got to be the place to go – I stumbled across this super cute set of two notebooks for less than a fiver. If pampering products are more your thing, The Body Shop always delivers when it comes to amazing body butters. Loads of them are in the sale at the moment too, including this delicious-scented Vanilla Pumpkin one. For the wrinkle-conscious girly girl, the Olay Total Effects Cream Bauble* is a super cute stocking filler and exclusive to Superdrug for just £6.99 (although it’s reduced to £5 at the moment – woo!), or free when you buy two or more 50ml Olay Regenerist/Total Effects products. It’ll look great hanging on the tree, too! Finally, for phone case lovers, Skinny Dip London have got some amazing cases that are just ideal for girly girls. I absolutely love this Skinny Dip London True Love iPhone Case – how pretty is it?!
