autumn bucket list

Autumn bucket list

My favourite time of the year is officially here and I don’t know about you, but I’m loving it so far. The weather has finally started to turn, with lots of crisp, sunny mornings to enjoy and I thought I’d put together a little list of autumn goals, or an ‘autumn bucket list’ if you will.

  1. Visit a pumpkin patch
Okay so this is a little bit of a cheat as I’ve actually already been to one this year, but this is always top of my list for autumn! I love putting on an autumnal outfit, grabbing my Doc Martens and heading out to enjoy a pumpkin spiced latte while perusing the pumpkins and picking out a selection to take home. I picked up a little trio of pumpkins in varying sizes and they’re currently looking pretty-as-a-picture on my front porch.
  2. Do some autumn baking
Another of my favourite autumn must-dos, I love this time of year for baking all the warming, cinnamon-based goods! I baked an apple crumble for the first time in years last week and it was absolutely delicious. I think next on my list is having a go at Taylor Swift’s famous chai cookie recipe, as I’m a bit obsessed with chai lattes at the moment!
  3. Go on crisp autumn walks
This time of year is my absolute favourite for venturing out on an autumn walk or two. I adore the autumn colours, so can’t resist putting on my chunkiest scarf and warmest coat and heading on a walk to take in all the beautiful russet reds, deep oranges and bold yellows.
  4. Embrace some cosy hobbies
Whether it’s scrapbooking, puzzling, drawing or crafting, I am a sucker for a cosy hobby at this time of year. I really want to get into junk journalling and think autumn is the perfect season to start, and I also need to pick cross-stitch back up after neglecting it over the summer.
  5. Visit a craft fair
As Christmas creeps ever closer, craft markets and fairs begin popping up around the country and they’re honestly one of my favourite weekend activities. There’s nothing better than discovering some incredible small businesses and even getting in early on your Christmas shopping. I hope I can visit at least one in the next few weeks/months.

What are your autumn must-dos? It really is the best time of year! ๐Ÿ
